Charcoal facial mask

Ok, so this product is a freakin miracle. So here is what BC says: The mask absorbs excess oil; Visibly minimizes pores; Purifies, detoxifies, and clarifies complexion; And, helps calm, refine, and smooth skin.
Well… Check, check, check andddd check! I honestly think this mask pulled gunk from my pores that a facialist would miss.

Alrighty, let’s review the highlighted ingredients:
-Watermelon Extract: Hydrates, delivers essential vitamins, and contains anti-inflammatory properties to soothe irritation.
- Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates skin by holding up to 1,000 times its weight in moisture.
- AHA: Gently exfoliates and hydrates to reveal smoother, brighter skin over time
- Peony Root: Brightens and soothes skin.
The only down side is that it is not actually pillow-proof, as advertised.

Converting to clean products is a long process. I never want to throw away products before their empty or expired (and sometimes I ignore the expiration, don’t tell my dermatologist). For the sake of sustainability, I waited a long time to switch to a clean beauty mascara. This one kills the game.
Here’s what Sephora says: Plant-derived oil conditions for healthier-looking lashes and helps fuse fibers to lashes for no fallout. The puff puff brush’s crisscrossed, medium-firm bristles catch and coat each lash.
sea mist texturizing salt spray
by herbivore
This is the first summer I have decided to ditch my hair straightener. Having been addicted to frying my hair since a young age, I cut it short and began searching for a salt spray to give my curls some life. Let me tell you, this one rocks (and it comes in coconut and lavender).
“Formulated with the same salinity as the Pacific Ocean, this naturally fragrant sea salt spray will bring new life and beachy volume to flat, uninspired locks.”
Seaglass Liquid Eyeshadow

I always find it difficult to find clean beauty items that are funky and different. The norm is bronzes and pinks, but sometimes I want to mix it up! This product is sans parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, and/or gluten.
This eye shadow also comes in a bunch of other fun, and (if you feel so inclined) natural colors. For a more subtle look, I use a fine tip brush and apply it as liner.
Classic Clear Mini Pouch

And last, but farrr from least, is the bag that I put all these goodies into. This one by Stoney Clover has the cute half fabric/half PVC situation going on. It’s also customizable, which I think makes it a little more fun.
Stoney Clover makes a bunch of cute bags and pouches, so def check it out!
